Brookville Road Rage Arrest: Hicksville Man Accused of Brandishing Glock During Morning Traffic Dispute

A Hicksville man was arrested in Brookville after allegedly brandishing a Glock during a road rage incident on Cedar Swamp Road.

The Second Squad reports the arrest of a Hicksville man for an incident that occurred on Saturday, November 8, 2025 at 10:38 AM in Brookville.
 
According to detectives, officers received a call for a motor vehicle disturbance on Cedar Swamp Road in the vicinity of Country Lane. It was determined that during the disturbance, a male operating a Mitsubishi displayed a firearm to two victims and fled from the scene.
 
A Brookville Police Department Officer located the vehicle shortly after and subsequent to an investigation the driver, Defendant Hasauni Rucker, 32, of Hicksville was arrested without incident.
 
Further investigation led to the recovery of a Glock firearm.
 
Defendant Hasauni Rucker is charged with two counts of Criminal Possession of a Weapon 2nd Degree, two counts of Menacing 2nd  Degree and multiple VTL violations. He will be arraigned on Sunday, November 9, 2025 at Fist District Court, 99 Main Street, Hempstead.
