AdvancePierre Foods’ Donates 40,000 Meals to Long Island Residents to Help Hurricane Sandy Relief Efforts

WHAT:            
AdvancePierre Foods will deliver a truckload of 3,591 cases of food to Island Harvest on Long Island on Saturday, November 10 in an effort to help relief efforts in the area. Island Harvest will distribute the food—enough for more than 40,000 meals—to agencies throughout Long Island that will prepare meals for those in need.

Donations include breaded chicken fingers, Asian- and Italian- style chicken appetizers and a variety of Cordon Bleu, broccoli and cheese and wild rice stuffed chicken breast entrees.
