For one night, everyone gets to play pretend.  Annual events surrounding this holiday are a unique exercise in self-expression – one night of the year that you can dress, act, be an entirely different person –- and leave your own identity at home for a while. Some tips for selecting a costume are connecting to popular culture, wear a couples costume, wig out with a wig and most of all be comfortable.  There are scary costumes, fun costumes, and sexy costumes -- some are even all three.
