Long Island Theatre Spotlight: CM PERFORMING ARTS CENTER If you are looking for something exciting to do for this HALLOWEEN, perhaps you may want to consider entering the doors of the CM PERFORMING ARTS CENTER. After much success last year, the CM Performing Arts Center will once again be converted into a maze of scary rooms, hallways, wooded areas, bloody streets and so much more. The creation of this event is an incredible undertaking. The creative team, previously the designers of the Haunted Mansion at Dowling, has been designing and constructing the spooky and spectacular exhibits for weeks. The Haunted theatre features all the fine assets of the CM Performing Arts Center. Many of the talented actors that perform in the main stage productions are the specters and ghouls of the five-night event. The fantastic light and sound effects are scary even before the ghouls take the stage. The pool of talent and creativity enables this Halloween event to rise above the simpler haunted houses. The Haunted Theatre begins on October 27 and runs through October 31. The 5PM to 7PM walk is more suitable for children. For the braver, a nighttime walk begins at 7PM.
