Service Updates

BY RICH KNUTSON I am going to try as best I can to keep up with the constant changes that are happening with our road, rail and waterways around our Island. As most of you are aware by now there is a single occupancy car restriction entering Manhattan between the hours of 6:00 AM - 12:00 Noon. Officials are advising that you use mass transit or use the available Park-n-Ride lots to car pool to enter Manhattan. The outer boroughs are also being affected as well. Expect some delays on the bridges. This tragic event has affected all of us so we must be patient and understanding while we get through this. Keep accessing the links that I have provided. They are your best bet for news updates and services changes. I also have found the web link for the NY Waterway Ferry service. Take care and be well. God bless America. ---------- Rich Knutson is a born and bred Long Islander who understands the joys and frustration of getting around on Long Island.
