Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police Major Case Unit detectives are
seeking the public’s help to identify and locate the driver of a vehicle that injured two
pedestrians before fleeing the scene in North Bellport last week.
Two teenagers were walking eastbound across Station Road at the intersection of
Patchogue Avenue when they were struck by a white, midsize Jeep SUV that was driving
southbound at 9:38 p.m. on September 26. The two teenagers were transported to area
hospitals for treatment of injuries, one serious. The vehicle is believed to have damage to
the front left corner, including the headlight.
Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward for information that leads to an arrest.
