2000 Long Term Care Insurance Deductibles
Premiums for Long Term Care Insurance for 2000 can be deducted as a medical expense to the extent they eceed 7.5% of the taxpayer's adjusted gross income up to the following amounts depending on the taxpayer's age
attained before the close of the taxable year: Age 40 or less $220 Age 41 through 50 $410 Age 51 through 60 $820 Age 61 through 70 $2,200 Age 71 and above $2,750
