Suffolk County Police Second Squad detectives are investigating an incident in which a man was found in the middle of a road next to an electric scooter in Huntington today.
A 53-year-old man was found unconscious on Bayberry Drive, at the corner of Juniper Place at approximately 4 p.m. The man was seen operating an electric scooter a short time prior.
He was transported to Stony Brook University Hospital via Suffolk County Police helicopter in serious condition. His name is being withheld pending notification of next of kin.
