Fall Fun at Hicks Nurseries

While Hicks Nurseries won’t be offering some of its traditional fall festival activities such as hayrides and games this year, families can still experience the magic of the season. Bring the kids to enjoy the all-new animated story titled, “Otto’s Fantastic Pet Parade” which follows Otto the friendly ghost and his friends as they explore the importance of friendship and teamwork. There will be a separate outside entrance and line to promote safety and social distancing on the busiest days. Otto is also making appearances for pictures on weekends and holidays.  

Tasty fall food favorites including homemade pies, kettle corn, and fudge-dipped donuts will be offered to-go. 

Admission and parking are free.

 

Annual Fall Festival at F&W Schmitt’s Family Farm

26 Pinelawn Rd., Melville

Sept. 19 - October 31, 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.

Admission $10, under 2 free

 

F&W Schmitt’s Family Farm will be holding its annual Fall Festival. The entrance fee includes access to Long Island’s largest straw pyramid, mini-golf, hayride wagon rides, a playground, and photo ops. 

COIVID-19 safety measures will be followed and are posted on the farm’s website. 

 

Fall Festival at Fink’s Country Farm

6242 Middle Country Road Wading River

Weekends only & Columbus Day, 9:30 a.m. -5 p.m.

Now through November 1

Admission $11-$17

Ages 2 & under are free

 

Spend the day at Fink’s Country Farm enjoying hay rides, a corn maze, U-pick pumpkins, a kittie train ride, combine slide, live music, character appearances, and much more. Food and refreshments are available, including roasted corn and hot cider. Handicap accessible. Social distancing and a mask/facial covering are required while visiting.

Fall Festival Craft Fair & Farmers Market

The Shoppes at East Wind

5720 NY-25A, Wading River

Every weekend now through Nov. 1, 9 a.m. - 6 p.m.

 

Visit the Shoppes at East Wind for featured local craft vendors, food, shopping, and lots of activities for kids. There’s a Grand Carousel, wooden train to climb, free bouncy house, East Wind Scarecrow Contest, and more.
