We are fortunate to have many museums right here on Long Island.  There are so many incredible exhibits that will educate and stimulate your mind.  They are also great for enhancing leisure time.  Exhibits range from art, sports, aviation, maritime, firefighters, hands-on kids fun and many more.  There is really something for everyone.  Some museums offer sleep-overs for your very own "Night at the Museum" experience.  
 
Museums offer hidden treasures and unexpected surprises.  Discover how science and aviation intertwine with the history of Long Island, from the flight of Charles Lindbergh to man's first steps on the moon.  Have you ever wanted to be a TV anchor or meteorologist on the nightly news?  The Communication Station area of LICM, lets you do just that.  Step back in time to the simpler life of the 1950's at the Long Island Museum's exhibit.  Catch a film on the Giant Screen Dome IMAX theatre at the Cradle of Aviation.

  • The National Jewish Sports Hall of Fame

    The museum celebrates Jewish involvement in all sports including sportscasters, writers and team owners.

     
  • Cold Spring Harbor Whaling Museum
