LI’s Adorable Adoptable Pets: The Boss You’ll Love to Live With

Written by Lyndsay McCabe  |  28. August 2014

As the cooler weather starts to settle in this autumn, consider bringing him a little boss to join your family… Boss the terrier, that is.

Boss is a two year old terrier mix who weighs about 42 pounds, and is expected to reach a maximum weight of about 50 pounds when full-grown. He is currently being fostered by a volunteer from Last Chance Animal Rescue, and his foster mom describes him as a “total love bug,” since he is sociable and friendly towards everyone he meets.  Boss gets along well with other dogs, and is respectful of their space.  At his current home, he tries to encourage his foster mom’s dogs to play, but understands if they do not want to play with him.  Boss also loves kids and even gets along with his furry feline foster sibling, a cat named Noelle.

This handsome mutt would love to live in a home with a fenced-in yard that he can explore.  All you need to make Boss’s day is a romp in the yard and a nice hard Kong toy!

Boss is neutered, house-trained, crate-trained, and up-to-date with all of his routine vaccinations.

Boss cannot stay with his foster mom, so please consider adopting him into your life and family.  For more information on Boss and how to adopt your new friend from LCAR, click here.

Last Chance Animal Rescue is a volunteer-based not-for-profit organization located out of Southampton which rescues animals from “kill” facilities – many of which are rural shelters in southern states – and underwrites the costs of relocating them to “no-kill” facilities and foster homes with the goal of adopting them into a forever family.  For information about adoption, fostering animals, or volunteering with LCAR, click here.
