Get ready for a weekend packed with music entertainment, street fairs and more on Long Island! Music entertainment runs include The Ebony Hillbillies, Bill Scorzari, The Bandits, David Cassidy and others. FRIDAY – SEPTEMBER 6, 2013

Who: Bluegrass & BBQ Featuring The Ebony Hillbillies At The Parrish Art Museum
Info: Enjoy an evening featuring “one of the last black string bands in the U.S.” The Ebony Hillbillies will entertain on the terrace with rootsy and All American music.
Cost: Free With Museum Admission, $10 For Adults, $8 For Seniors, Free For Children Under 18 and Students With ID

Who: The Language Of Flowers At Masury Estate Ballroom
Info: Enjoy a flower show featuring horticulture, design, table artistry, educational and children’s exhibits.

Who: Bill Scorzari with the Raddle Chains and Straw Walkers At The Paramount
Info: Native Long Islander Bill Scorzari is a singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. He combines traditional Americana, Folk, Roots and Acoustic music elements, with original, melody-laden compositions, thought-provoking lyrical imagery in a signature voice.

Who: The Bandits Tribute To Bob Dylan And The Band At Dix Hills Performing Arts Center
Info: Bob Dylan’s influence on folk and rock music goes back to 1963. The Bandits will perform a concert taking you back to the magical era playing acoustic music and rock and roll.
Cost: $20 to $35

Who: David Cassidy At Eisenhower Park
Info: As part of Eisenhower Park’s Lakeside Concerts David Cassidy will perform. Cassidy played Keith Patridge in the early ‘70s sitcom “The Patridge Family” and became one of pop culture’s most celebrated teen idols.

Who: 8th Annual Family Fun Day And Picnic At Southaven County Park
Info: Enjoy a day presented by Contractors for Kids. There will be a petting zoo, pig race, a pie eating contest, rides, games and more. The lineup of live music includes Joseph & Friends, BX2, Rattlesnake Dawn and BigDaddy and The Bulldogs.

Who: Long Beach Street Fair
Info: The super street fair hosted by the Long Beach Chamber of Commerce is complete with vendors, music, food and inflatable rides!
Cost: Free Event

Who: Grateful Fest At The Vanderbilt Museum
Info: It’s a day of Grateful Dead tribute bands and live painting overlooking the Long Island Sound. The event features Half Step, The Electrix, Unbroke Chain and Reflections along with 50 artists painting to the inspiration of live music, scenic vistas, and audience interaction.
Cost: $15 For Adults, $5 For Children 12 And Under, Free For Children 5 and Under

Who: Annual Nesconset Day Street Fair
Info: This fair is hosted by the Nesconset Chamber of Commerce. The fair runs along Smithtown Boulevard and features vendors with unique items and live entertainment.
