Take in Fantastic Seaside Views at a Waterfront Restaurant

One of the perks of living on Long Island is to have seaside towns to wander where you can smell fresh seafood in the air.  Waterfront dining is a big business on Long Island, and there are plenty of restaurants to choose from, including dockside dining options where you can drive your boat right up to the restaurant!  Many of these restaurants are located in great walk-around towns with lots to offer, and most focus on locally harvested seafood, but if you don't have a taste for seafood but still love the waterfront experience, many of these eateries also offer American cuisine like burgers and sandwiches. 

Eating outside does enhance the experience of eating near the water, so be sure to check the weather before you go to make sure you don't end up in the rain.  Many of these restaurants also offer glass-enclosed decks so that you will be prepared for any sort of weather.  Here are the top ten restaurants for waterfront dining all around the Island:

Off Key Tikki
