Long Island, NY - August 17, 2011 -If you've been feeling a little down about the economy lately come to the Independent Business Women's Circle Tradeshow, Seminar and Networking Event on August 23rd and recharge your batteries at this totally free, fun and fabulous expo at Brandywine at the Savoy in Little Neck. The show is unique in that it's held in a more intimate setting than most so you can network, connect with potential customers and attend informative seminars in a breezy, non-competitive and welcoming environment. "This is our fourth year and the response has been better than ever," says tradeshow organizer and board member Sue Glenn. "We all want to build our businesses and increase revenue, but we also want these events to be enjoyable and informative. That's why we've changed our format this year to include something for everyone." In addition to offering gourmet snacks compliments of Brandywine, three experts in their fields will present seminars on current topics of interest. They will be held throughout the afternoon beginning with Gayle Naftaly of NYC-based access.office and networker extraordinaire speaking on "How to Create Synergy at a Tradeshow or Networking Event" (12:30-1 and 3-3:30); Ellen DePasquale, regional director of the Metro NY area for Constant Contact speaking on "Social Media for Your Business" (1-2:00) and nationally known author, lecturer and attorney Steven Mitchell Sack speaking on "Protect Yourself Legally as a Business Owner, Employee or Contractor" (2-3:00). The tradeshow runs from 12-4pm and is open to all. Bring business cards and company brochures. There will be a separate entrance for the seminars but all attendants can enter through the main entrance at Brandywine, 55-15 Little Neck Parkway in Little Neck (directly off the LIE) where they will be directed to the appropriate location.
