A King Kullen spokesperson has confirmed that two more locations will be closing down on Long Island soon. The locations that are being closed include the supermarket in Lake Ronkonkoma as well as the one in North Babylon. The Lake Ronkonkoma location will be closing on August 22 while the North Babylon location will be closing on September 26.

The spokesperson for King Kullen explained that the two locations were not performing as expected, so the decision was made to close the two shops rather than renew the leases. However, the plan is for all employees working at these locations to be reassigned instead of laying them off. Currently, there are no layoffs planned for the King Kullen workers.
