Summer just makes Long Island that much of a better place! There are loads of activities to help kick-start your evening that are indoors and outdoors. This week, you can enjoy an outdoor concert featuring great singing to music from the 70’s, 80’s, 90’s and today by The Chiclettes at Long Beach Park and live jazz music at The Pizza Place on Monday. On Tuesday, enjoy an outdoor movie screening at The Patio Marina Lounge and family fun festivities along Main Street in Northport Village Park. If you like hustle dancing, head over to The Winner’s Circle to show your moves on Wednesday. You can also find surf and turf dishes nearby the Patchogue River that is accompanied with live music by Howie Seal at The Oar Steak and Seafood Grill on Wednesday. And for Thursday, there is country dancing along with music and food at the Hilton Inn Garden Riverhead and ballroom dancing at the Vanderbilt Museum. Check out the details below!

Who: The Chiclettes Outdoor Concert
Info: The Chiclettes, a ladies singing group and its band, will perform rock and roll music from the 70’s, 80’s, 90’s and present day. It’ll take you on a historical musical journey and will appeal to all generations.

Time & Place: 7:30PM at Long Beach Park on the boardwalk at National Blvd

Who: The Real Jazz at The Pizza Place
Info: Jazz Jam at The Pizza Place features pros and up-and-coming performers. Enjoy great food and music with beer and wine. There’s no cover charge or minimum.

Who: Movie Nights at The Patio Marina Lounge
Info: It’s dinner and movie night at The Patio, located at the Freeport Inn & Marina. It offers an outdoor dining area with a 12-ft outdoor TV screen, fire pits and lounge couches. A nightly 3-course-price-fixed menu is available before 6pm.

Who: Mid-Summer Night Dances at the Vanderbilt Museum
Info: Ballroom dancing and other popular dances will take over the Vanderbilt Museum. The event is sponsored by Ballroom on the Bay of Huntington and it is held throughout August, every Thursday evening. Lessons are also offered. The event is held under a tent on the lawn next to the Vanderbilt Mansion.
