If festivals and tournaments is your thing, then you’ll have a great time on Long Island this weekend! Don’t miss the Babylon Tuna Tournament, Long Island Comedy Festival, Tomato Taste-Off Festival, North Fork Craft Beer, BBQ, & Wine Festival, New York AutoFest and North Shore Blues Festival. FRIDAY – AUGUST 9, 2013

Who: Babylon Tuna Tournament At Babylon Village Docks
Info: This annual tournament is open to Day and Inshore Boats. Watch boats bring in their “catch” and enjoy live music, food vendors and entertainment. The event continues through August 11.

Who: Cat On A Hot Tin Roof At Studio Theatre of Lindenhurst
Info: This performance tells the story of Brick and his wife Maggie, who are celebrating the 65th birthday of Brick’s father, Big Daddy. Big Daddy is bothered by the rocky relationship between his beloved son Brick and his beautiful and feisty wife Maggie. During a hot summer evening, the veneer of Southern gentility slips away as pleasant truths emerge. The performance continues through August 24.

Who: Long Island Comedy Festival At The Suffolk Theater
Info: Enjoy an evening of hilarious stand-up comedy. It features a lineup of the top comedians from around the country, including Paul Anthony as host and comedians Tyler Gilden, Jack Simmons, Erik Rivera and Maria Walsh.

SATURDAY – AUGUST 10, 2013

Who: Tomato Taste-Off Festival At Garden of Eve Organic Farm & Market
Info: Taste 20 varieties of heirloom and traditional tomatoes, learn to can your own, make salsa and enjoy tomato cuisine. You can also enter your homegrown organic veggies in the veggie judging competition to win prizes. The event continues through August 11.

Who: North Fork Craft Beer, BBQ, & Wine Festival At Martha Clara Vineyard
Info: The event showcases the finest craft breweries from across the country, award-winning beer, and wines from the Martha Clara Vineyards and other Long Island wineries. Also enjoy music by singer-songwriter Eddie Ayala. Admission also comes with a BBQ sandwich and side dish. The event will help raise funds for the Beer for Brains Foundation.

Who: Neil Diamond Tribute At The Suffolk Theater
Info: As part of the Summer Saturday Supper club series, enjoy a special menu and the show Diamond One Hot Night The Premiere Neil Diamond Tribute. Dinner seating begins at 6:30 to 7 p.m.

Who: North Shore Blues Festival At Vanderbilt Museum
Info: The festival features Kerry Kearney, Willie Steel Band, Hooch and The Bluesicians and Josie Wales Band. There will also be artists painting to the inspiration of the live music, scenic vistas, and audience interaction.
Cost: $15 For Adults, $5 For Children 12 and Under, Free For Children 5 Years and Under

Who: Maroon 5 At Nikon At Jones Beach Theater
Info: Maroon 5 offers a hybrid of rock, funk and R&B music. It has sold over 17 million albums worldwide. Its lead vocalist Adam Levine has also served as a mentor on the TV show, ‘The Voice.’
