Record label Amathus Music has reached a level of excellence rarely seen from an independent. Yet Amathus always seems to come out swinging and delivering one solid punch after another. For the Summer of 2008 it has moved on to present a European flavor of music that is pleasant to the ears and dance driven. We travel to a European island that is known for its party like atmosphere. So what better way to be represented than in this musical selection of house and trance music with pure dance floor gems perfect for Ibiza lovers.

The third largest of the fifty Balearic Islands located in the Mediterranean Sea; Ibiza is a haven for musical rhythms. Its beauty and aromatic smell sooths the senses. When you couple that with the sensual yet vibrant music it is inescapable and leaves you captivated. Ibiza represents great music, DJ's and partying. Excellent sound systems bring the best dance music straight into your ears. House tracks are predominant, and it is from here that they start their victorious journey all over the globe. "Ibiza House Anthems" as the album is entitled collects some of the newest House tracks which perfectly underscore that party island.

Next on the agenda is "Ibiza Trance Anthems" another culmination of hypnotic beats that are the cutting edge of trance music. The album features various artists that can place you on any sexy spot in Ibiza. From the fast paced beats of Greco Roman's "Corner" to the hands in the air style of Atlantic Cross' "Kiss In The Night" the journey is almost complete.

Next up is Keven Maroda's new album "Chris Havelock And His Magic Orchestra" which pushes the boundaries of the underground dance community. It features top Electronic tracks such as "The Time Machine" & "Resist" which have the signature Keven Maroda house style. All in all this album covers the Dance genre from driving house beats to progressive dance tracks making this a must have for any Dance Music fanatic.

Amathus Music was founded in 2002 with the concept of developing new artists and releasing high quality music throughout the ever-so-changing climate of global music. The label has been known for its consistency on delivering cutting edge music and setting new standards. Even though dance music has only recently seen a slight incline it is still yet to garner the respect it once had.

But in Europe it has a strong presence and Amathus Music is set on bringing forth that appreciation for dance music here in the States. The three new albums have just recently been released on iTunes and are sure to make a mark. All you Long Islanders should do whatever is possible to push a local record label. As a classic diva once said "Let the Music Play"!
