MONDAY – JULY 15, 2013

Who: Long Island’s Auto Racing Heritage Exhibit At WMHO Educational & Cultural Center
Info: The exhibit features the five racetracks on Long Island, including in Bridgehampton, Freeport, Riverhead, Islip and Vanderbilt. See the cars that raced the tracks, memorabilia from Marty Himes, Robert Rubin and much more. The exhibit continues to run through September 2.
Cost: $4 For Adults, $2 For Children Under $2

Who: Paul Reiser At Bay Street Theatre
Info: You may know of Paul Reiser from his role as Paul Buchanan in Mad About You with Helen Hunt. Reiser, a seasoned actor, writer and stand-up comedian now takes the stage for a night of fun comedy entertainment.

TUESDAY – JULY 16, 2013

Who: A Pirates Tale At Broad Hollow Elmont
Info: Enjoy a live performance of this original tale of lost treasure and peg-legged pirates on a voyage.

Who: A Piece Of The Rock At Clark Botanic Garden
Info: Enjoy a live performance of classic rock and pop music from the 50s through today. Bring your own chair for seating.

Who: Daughtry At Nikon At Jones Beach Theater
Info: Daughtry, the rock band started by Chris Daughtry is on tour supporting its latest album ‘Break the Spell.’

Who:  Huntington Manor Fireman’s Fair
Info: Come out to enjoy amusement rides, games, gambling, food and live music. The parade starts at 7:30 p.m. The event continues through July 20 and there are fireworks at 9:30 p.m. each night.

THURSDAY – JULY 18, 2013

Who: 18th Annual Stony Brook Film Festival
Info: It’s the opening night. Enjoy 10 days of new independent films shown on one the largest screens in the region. There are foreign language films, American independent films and shorts.
Cost: $80 For 10-Day Films Pass, $9 For Single Ticket; $7 For Senior Citizens and Students

Who: The Specials At The Paramount
Info: Enjoy a live performance of The Specials. The English band formed in 1977 and creates music combining dance, rock and punk energy and attitude.
