East Rockaway, NY June 21, 2011- Rolling River Day Camp announced the winner of their Waveunners Giveaway Contest this week as well as the general registration date for their highly anticipated two week introduction to camp program beginning in August. The Waverunners Giveaway Contest awarded one lucky child two complimentary weeks at Rolling River Day Camp during the summer 2011 session. Parents of eligible children were able to enter the contest by becoming fans of the Rolling River Facebook page and clicking the "Like" button on the wall post that contained the words "Waverunners Giveaway". The winner was then selected through a random drawing by Rolling River staff. This year's contest winner was 5 year old Emily Rung of Franklin Square. Emily currently attends Grace Lutheran Preschool and will spend two weeks at Rolling River before she begins kindergarten in the fall. "We are excited to offer this amazing opportunity to Emily and her family," said Marissa Goodman, Business Development Supervisor at Rolling River Day Camp. "We know Emily will have a fantastic experience at Rolling River and we can't wait to welcome her aboard." Registration is now open to Long Island families who are interested in giving their children a taste of a premiere summer day camp experience without the high cost or commitment. The program is offered to first time Rolling River campers ages 3 through entering second grade and is available based space within camp groups.
