This weekend is sure to bring tons of fun for Dads & Grads - Sunday the 17th is Father's Day, and over the next few weeks, the college class of 2012 will be graduating. Not sure how to celebrate? The weather and the options are looking very promising no matter what you're heading out to do this weekend - whether it's backyard fun, outdoor dining, recreational activities, or enjoying some of the exciting events coming up this holiday weekend.

An Extravagant Night of Elegance for a Great Cause!
It's finally here! This Monday, June 18th from 7 - 11 PM, you won't want to miss the the 2nd Annual Long Island Hospitality Ball - an amazing gala event that raises money for the American Cancer Society. The evening will be filled with fun, fabulous cocktails, delicious dining, dancing, and all sorts of excitement and surprises throughout the evening. If you love spending a night on the town, then why not enjoy an evening for a great cause? Tickets are $100 per person, and include unlimited food & drink, parking, and entertainment for the evening. Last year's event raised over $170,000 for the American Cancer Society, and this year is looking like it will be just as successful and fun. Don't miss out on the fun this year!

This Friday, June 15th visit Ruvo Restaurant's locations in either Port Jeff or Greenlawn to get the Summer started right with their Summer Kick Off Party! At the Port Jeff Location, the fun runs from 8 - 11 PM, with live music by the East End Trio. At the Greenlawn location, the party kicks off at 9:30 PM, and keeps kickin' til Midnight, with live music by Allen & Tom Santoriello of the Little Wilson Band. There will be all sorts of fun, festivities, and drink specials available at both locations - just what you're looking for to get the summer started right. This Week's Best Long Island Events 

13 Annual Riverhead Blues Festival
If you love to sing the Blues, than this is one event you won't want to miss! This Saturday from 11 AM - 11 PM & Sunday from 11 AM - 9 PM, come out to downtown Riverhead to enjoy their 13th Annual Blues Festival. There will be 3 main stages set up right on the waterfront, and there is open seating and standing. Tickets are $10 for one day, $16 for both days, and kids 10 & under are free! In addition to the music there will be all sorts of exciting craft & food vendors! Come out and enjoy!

Weekly Farmers Market Comes to Tanger Outlets in Deer Park
This Saturday & Sunday from 11 AM - 3 PM, come out to the Tanger Outlets at Deer Park for their weekly local farmers market featuring over 30 vendors from around Long Island. There will be all sorts of fresh produce and locally grown and produced food, wine, and more. Come support your local farmers & businesses and stock up on food that's grown right here on Long Island.

Kings Park Day
This Saturday from 10 AM - 4 PM, come out to Kings Park for their Annual Kings Park Day Main Street Celebration! The day will be filled with food, fun, crafts, games, rides and excitement for the whole family. Entrance is free, and this will surely be a day of fun in the sun for the whole family!

 

Family Sundays at Nassau County Museum of Art
Looking for something fun to do with the family this weekend? Every Sunday, the Nassau County Museum of Art hosts Family Sundays at the Museum at 1 PM - this starts with a guided tour through the museum, followed by supervised art activities starting at 1:30 PM. Family Sundays are included in admission to the Museum, which ranges from $4-10. Parking on weekends is $2.
