Suffolk County Police Auction To Be Held June 22

Do you ever wonder what happens to stolen, unclaimed goods? Well, they end up being auctioned off to the highest bidder at police department auctions. The Suffolk County Police Department is holding an auction on June 22, 2011 at the SCPD's property section building located at 30 Yaphank Ave., Yaphank. This auction is open to the public as well as to merchant dealers. Among the items being auctioned are power tools, household appliances, electronic equipment, clothing/sneakers, designer handbags, jewelry, bicycles, car stereos & equipment, boats, and much more. A preview is scheduled for June 21 between 10a.m. and 12p.m. All items are sold "as is," cash only, plus sales tax. The event is rain or shine.
