Last weekend might have been filled with surprise showers throughout the day, but that doesn't mean it wasn't filled with tons of fun! A big thank you to everyone who stopped by our table at the LI Real Estate & Business Renaissance or Smithtown Festival Day this past weekend - we had a blast at both events, and loved meeting all of you! This weekend is promising to be sunny again, with the same threat of intermitent showers, but it's also looking like there is a ton of fun ahead of us with all sorts of great events happening this weekend, and also in the upcoming weeks. As the weather continues to heat up, so does the excitement on Long Island - and if there's one thing that everyone can enjoy, it's fun in the sun.

An Extravagant Night of Elegance for a Great Cause!
If you're looking to enjoy a night on the town that is more than just an evening full of fun, fabulous food and cocktails, than you won't want to miss the 2012 Long Island Hospitality Ball. This1 event brings together the excitement of a black tie affair with charitable efforts for a great cause - raising money for the American Cancer Society. It will be hosted at the Crest Hollow Country Club on Monday, June 18th from 7 - 11 PM, with food and drink for the evening included in the ticket price of $100. There will be wonderful samplings from a multitude of local Long Island restaurants, as well as all sorts of fun and excitement provided from all of the local sponsors of this great event. If you're perfect night out is a black tie gala, then you won't want to miss this affair!

It's a bird! It's a plane! It's one of the most unique black tie events to come to Long Island this summer! The Long Island Elite are hosting their Superheroes Masquerade this upcoming Thursday, June 14th, at 6:30 at the Oheka Castle. This event is designed to help raise money for mulitple local charitable organizations, and is sure to be a ton of fun - there will be a lavish cocktail hour, delicious food, live entertainment, and all sorts of fabulous contests, raffles, and prizes! Tickets are $350 each for this black tie affair - and costumes are optional. Just make sure to dress to the nines before you come out and have fun at this event - this is a can't miss for anyone who enjoys fun for a good cause.

PetFest Comes to the Hamptons
This Saturday from 10 AM - 4 PM, if you're a pet lover, make sure to come out to the grounds of the Bridgehampton Historical Society for a day of music, fun, food, and of course pets! You and your furry friends can enjoy a day of excitement for a great cause, and there will be plenty of exciting activities throughout the day including a pet parade and fashion show. Tickets are $10, kids & pets are free!

1st Annual LI Kosher BBQ Championship
Looking to enjoy a unique BBQ event this weekend? Come out to Temple Beth Torah of Westbury for their 1st Annual Kosher BBQ Championship - an event designed to help raise much needed funds for local Long Island food banks & pantries. The event is Sunday and starts at 11 AM - make sure to come hungry, and be ready for a day of food & fun!

13th Annual Hounds on the Sound 3k Dog Walk & Adoption Event
Looking for something fun to do with Fido this weekend? Come out to the Port Jeff Village Center this Sunday at 10 AM - 3 PM and join the Hounds on the Sound 3k Dog Walk & Adoption Event to raise much needed funds for Save A Pet LI. Entry cost is $30, and if you raise $200 or more, you'll recieve a keepsake mug with a picture of your pooch!

 

The Jazz Caravan Comes to Mirelle's This Friday
If you're a fan of Jazz, then you won't want to miss the Jazz Caravan at Mirelle's - an ongoing event that brings amazing jazz musicians to Mirelle's of Westbury every Friday night, all summer long. This Friday the 8th is Alex Jacquemin - doors are at 7 PM, with sets at 8 & 9:30 PM. Tickets are $20, and this is sure to be a show you won't want to miss. Can't make it out on a Friday Night? Come out to thier Jazz Brunch every Sunday morning from 11 AM - 4 PM!
