Applications Being Accepted for Quogue Wildlife Refuge's 43rd Annual Summer Ecology Program

Written by Hannah M.  |  01. June 2012

Don’t miss the unique opportunity to let your child experience the wonder and beauty of nature, during Quogue Wildlife Refuge’s 43rd Annual Summer Ecology Program, for children in grades 2-12, as well as the popular Little Naturalists program for 4, 5 and 6 year-olds. Applications for both are still being accepted, and are available online at www.QuogueWildlifeRefuge.org, or in the Refuge Nature Center, located at 3 Old Country in Quogue.

The Summer Ecology Program consists of nine, one-week explorations of the Refuge and other surrounding areas, and will give campers the chance to learn some of nature’s greatest secrets, while instilling in them a respect for the natural world. Little Naturalists is designed to introduce younger campers to nature by exploring the outdoors, participating in hands-on activities, games and crafts, and meeting the Refuge’s resident wildlife creatures, up close and personal.

Space is limited in each session. Advance registration and payment is required. For more information, call 631-653-4771.
