LI’s Adorable Adoptable Pets: Snowball is Looking for the Purr-fect Snuggling Companion

Written by Lyndsay McCabe  |  29. May 2014

June is Adopt a Cat Month, and to get ready, we have found the first purr-fect candidate to be your new best buddy at Last Chance Animal Rescue.

Those who say they do not like cats because they are cold or standoffish have never met a cat like Snowball.  Snowball is an all-white adult male domestic short haired cat with big beautiful green eyes, and he adores people.  His foster parent calls him a “total purr machine,” and says that he loves to cuddle up and enjoys just sitting with you and enjoying your company.  He does not scratch at all, and he is super low maintenance which makes him a good fit for many different households.

In Snowball’s current foster home, he lives with other cats and dogs, which he gets along well with, as seen in the picture in the gallery.  He surely is an all-around friendly cat!

This cuddle bug is neutered, litter trained, and up to date on all of his routine shots.  He is also feline leukemia and feline HIV negative.

Last Chance Animal Rescue is a volunteer-based not-for-profit organization located out of Southampton which rescues animals from “kill” facilities – many of which are rural shelters in southern states – and underwrites the costs of relocating them to “no-kill” facilities and foster homes with the goal of adopting them into a forever family.  For information about adoption, fostering animals, or volunteering with LCAR, click here.
