Get ready, Long Island foodies! Island Empanada's beloved Empanada Eating Contest is making a triumphant return at this year's Ronkonkoma Street Fair. Scheduled for Sunday, May 25, 2025, the contest kicks off at 2:45 PM on Hawkins Avenue in Ronkonkoma. 

A Feast of Flavor and Fun

This annual event challenges participants to devour as many of Island Empanada's signature Puerto Rican-style empanadas as possible within a three-minute timeframe. The contestant who consumes the most will be crowned the champion, earning a $50 Island Empanada gift card and a branded t-shirt as prizes.

How to Enter

Participation is free, but spots are limited. Aspiring competitors must register in advance by filling out the entry form available on Island Empanada's official website: www.islandempanada.com/empanadacontest. The contest is open to individuals aged 18 and older.
