Lindenhurst's 24th Annual Spring Festival May 2nd to May 4th

Spring is full in swing and the start of fair and festival season has begun. LongIsland.com was a part of the 24th Annual Lindenhurst Spring Fair, put together by the Lindenhurst Chamber of Commerce, that took place over the weekend of May 2nd to May 4th. Located on Wellwood Avenue intersecting Hoffman Avenue, local businesses came out to celebrate the Spring in Lindenhurst.

On Sunday, LongIsland.com was at a booth just south of Hoffman Avenue and we were in the center of the action. We had the prize wheel out and were giving away LongIsland.com stickers, cups, drink coolies, and pens. We had a great time meeting everyone and introducing ourselves to the Lindenhurst community.

From crafts for kids to local vendors to the food, there was a lot of fun to be had over the weekend. Many vendors had many great giveaways and all the visitors were enjoying deep-fried Oreoes, zeppollis, and sausage and pepper sandwiches. Additionally, dance and karate studios were also out to show off their skills for visitors.

If you did not want to shop or eat, there were many amusement rides available for visitors to enjoy, as well as, live music! Also, visitors enjoyed looking at the amazing antique cars along the street.

If you missed the Lindenhurst's 24th Annual Spring Festival this year, keep an eye out for their 25th festival next year - this is one Spring Fair you won't want to miss! Check out some of the greatsnapshots of the Spring Festival below, or head over to our gallery to view them all!
