HIA-LI Announces Conference Programming Designed to Educate, Inform and Boost Regional Business; Thursday, May 24, 9 AM – 4 PM;

Suffolk County Community College Sports & Exhibition Complex, Brentwood Campus

Hauppauge, NY – May 3, 2012 – This year, smart business owners, executives and managers are attending conferences and paying close attention to experts who can offer perspective and guidance on ways to develop strategies for business success. In an effort to give Long Island businesses what they need to succeed, HIA-LI, the recognized voice for business on Long Island, has introduced conference programming and exhibits for its B2B trade show designed to offer guidance and support for business growth. The HIA-LI 24th Annual Business Trade Show & Conference will be held on Thursday, May 24 from 9 AM to 4 PM, at the Suffolk County Community College Sports & Exhibition Complex, Brentwood Campus. Informational & Educational Programs & Seminars

The Conference agenda includes a combination of fee-based and free sessions. Three fee-based sessions are a MUST ATTEND for executives who are growing their businesses:

Executive Breakfast & Keynote Presentation. Leadership trainer and motivational speaker Brian Parsley returns to the event by popular demand. He will discuss “Creating Strategies that will Increase Your Business.”

Executive Luncheon & Panel Discussion. Long Island leaders, legislators and representatives will gather to discuss and debate the best ways for “Forging a New Future… Long Island Economic Development Projects.” Attendees will learn about the LIREDC process and how it is helping achieve Long Island’s economic and social objectives, NYS initiatives and how they impact local businesses. Opening remarks will be delivered by US Congressman Peter King, who will be joined by Ken Adams, President and CEO, ESD and Commissioner of the New York State Dept. of Economic Development; Mark Lesko, Brookhaven Town Supervisor; Kevin Law, President, LIA; Rich Scheaffer, Town of Babylon Supervisor and moderated by John Kominicki, Publisher, LIBN.

Trade Show Executive Seminar. “How to Drive Sales with Mobile & Social Commerce,” will be the topic presented by veteran serial entrepreneurs and businessmen, Andrew Hazen, Ruskin Moscou Faltischek and Tyler Roye, CEO, GroupGifting.com. The panel, moderated by Peter Goldsmith, President, LISTnet, will provide information on how to thrive in the largest growing marketplaces – mobile and social.
