A Safe Haven Can Help You

Written by babies  |  01. May 2001

Your young, with your whole life ahead of you except your pregnant. Don't panic...there is help. There is a secret safe haven for newborns near you, providing the solutions you are looking for. You can take your newborn to a local hospital's emergency room where the baby will be cared for with no questions asked. The AMT Children of Hope Foundation buried 19 newborns in our area since 1998. There mission is to rescue newborn babies from injury or death by providing confidential emergency care and shelter. So if you find yourself in a position you can't handle alone, you can leagally bring your newbeon baby to a Safe Haven location within the first five days of birth. You will not be prosecuted for abandonment, your name will not be asked. You will only be asked if you have any medical information about the baby your feel others should know about. You can call the Long Island Crisis Center at 516-679-1111 or the helpline at 1-877-796-HOPE for confidentail information. Or visit there web site at www.amtchildrenofhope.com
