Festival of Art Featuring Howard Rose

Trapani Fine Art is pleased to announce a weekend of fine art, Saturday May 14 and Sunday May 15th, featuring Howard Rose and fifty of his new miniature paintings of coastal Long Island. In addition, the gallery will showcase live painting demos on Saturday with artists Diane Bares, Aleta Crawford and Madeline Meryash. On Saturday evening, from 6PM -9PM, the public is invited to an artist's reception to meet the artists represented in the gallery including Diane Bares, Aleta Crawford, Elizabeth Haney, Madeline Meryash, Larry Chrapliwy, and Howard Rose. The reception will feature a book signing of Rose's new publication, "Coastal Landscapes of Long Island," which includes all fifty paintings that will be for sale during the weekend. The newly established Manhasset restaurant "La Bottega" will provide food and refreshments Saturday evening. On Sunday, May 15th at 1PM, Howard Rose will do a live painting demo of a Long Island coastal scene. The painting demonstration is free and open to the public. The weekend event at the gallery will offer a raffle to benefit Cohen's Children's Hospital, Division of Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics. Included in the raffle will be an original Howard Rose oil painting, a limited edition giclee by Madeline Meryash, four weeks of group art classes with Howard Rose, and a $250 gift certificate for custom framing. All proceeds from the raffle and 5% of weekend gallery art sales will be donated to Cohen's Children's Hospital, Division of Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics.
