CANCELLED - NCPD: Man Deaf-Mute Man with Down Syndrome Reported Missing from New Cassel Residence

UPDATE - April 10, 2017 - Missing Persons Squad detectives report that Mohammed Saleem has been located.

New Cassel, NY - April 10, 2017 - The Missing Persons Squad is investigating a missing person that occurred on Sunday, April 9, 2017 at 4:50 pm in New Cassel.
 
According to detectives, Mohammed Saleem, 29, 5’2” tall, 100 lbs., black eyes and black moustache and hair, was last seen leaving residence on Elderberry Lane on foot in unknown direction.  He was wearing a blue and red checkered shirt, dark pants and tan boots. Missing person suffers from Down syndrome and is a deaf-mute.
 
Detectives request anyone with information regarding the above missing person please contact the Missing Persons Squad at 516-573-7347 or call 911.  All callers will remain anonymous.
