Easter Egg Hunts: Eggs-actly What the Kids Want!

With Easter almost here, many Long Islanders have already planned brunches they will be enjoying with their families after Easter Sunday Mass. Additionally, there are many events going on that family and kids will enjoy in taking part one.

One of the most popular events during Easter is the Easter Egg Hunt. The symbol of the holiday has been combined with a common folklore of the Easter Bunny. It is said that the Easter Bunny hides the eggs for children to find. This is a fun tradition that many people young and old love to take part in. Some hunts have you find colored eggs or find eggs filled with candy.

Many egg hunts will include prizes and lots of Easter candy for the kids and family. So check out the many Easter Egg Hunt events on the island:
