Dear Long Islander,
Long Islanders were grateful to dodge a potential snowstorm midway through the week, giving hope that a long winter is finally over. Though temperatures have not been particularly spring-like over the past few days they’re due to warm up for the weekend; it is also supposed to rain as well, but at least the Island will be warm. Thankfully there’s plenty to do this weekend to take your mind off the weather: watch some college sports, take in a little tennis, head to Oyster Bay’s Polar Plunge, or stay indoors with a model train show in Bethpage and Nutrition Expo in Huntington! There’s always plenty of fun to be had on Long Island no matter the season or the weather.
