While out for entertainment on Long Island also enjoy the Smithtown Chamber of Commerce’s 6th Annual Smithtown Restaurant Week! There are over 25 restaurants participating offering a variety of cuisines. Choose to dine before or after all the great entertainment happening at the end of the week, including performances like ‘Love List’ and ‘The Wiz. There’s also a model train show, the polar plunge at Tobay Beach and more. Check out the full details below!

FRIDAY – MARCH 28, 2014
Who: 6th Annual Smithtown Restaurant Week

Info: From now through March 30th, enjoy the Smithtown Chamber of Commerce’s 6th Annual Smithtown Restaurant Week. Over 25 restaurants are participating in the event so you have a variety of cuisines to select from.
Cost: $27.95 includes an appetizer, entrée and dessert
Time & Place: Check with participating restaurants for reservations.

Who: Jerry Constanzo At Grasso’s
Info: Jerry Constanzo, a well-regarded singer/bandleader who’s produced music appealing to audiences young and old will be joined by pianist Tedd Firth and bassist John Ray. The men will perform from Constanzo’s CDs, “Invitation” and “Can’t We Be Friends” as well as “Great American Song Book.”

Who: Love List At Carriage House Theater, Vanderbilt Mansion
Info: This comedy performance by Norm Foster tells the story of two men who concoct a list of qualities defining the perfect woman. When this “ideal woman” arrives, the men realize that their list could use some revisions.

SATURDAY – MARCH 29, 2014
Who: Freezin’ For A Reason – Town Of Oyster Bay Polar Plunge At Tobay Beach
Info: This event is presented by the Town of Oyster Bay to help raise money for the athletes of the Special Olympics New York. Every plunger that raises $125 will receive an official Plunge sweatshirt and there are more prizes for those who raise even more. Take part or simply come down to show support!

Who: Golden Gloves Boxing Event At Brentwood Recreation Center
Info: Enjoy a boxing tournament hosted by Suffolk County PAL!

Who: Hockey – Islanders Vs. New Jersey Devils At Nassau Coliseum

Model Train Show Benefitting Nassau Hurricane Recovery Fund At Bethpage Senior Community Center

Info: This model train show is held to benefit Nassau Hurricane Recovery Fund. Exhibitors include Train Clubs such as Trainville Hobby Depot, Long Island HOTtrack, Long Island Traction O Gauge Trolleys, TMB Model Railroad Club, MTA LIRR Police and more.

Who: The Wiz At Riverhead High School
Info: The Riverhead High School Blue Masques presents their spring musical, ‘The Wiz.’ It is an urban retelling of the 1939 classic ‘The Wizard of Oz.’

Who: Richard Shindell At YMCA Boulton Center For The Performing Arts
Info: Folk singer/songwriter Richard Shindell performs live! Shindell offers lightheartedly ballads, adulterous love songs, to dirges and diatribes that skillfully skewer politics, prejudice, war and religion.
