Top 10: Spring Break Boredom Busters

Written by Debbi Spiegel  |  08. April 2023

You know that your kids will utter those dreaded words, "I'm bored!"  They could proclaim they'll simply die if they don't get to do something fun immediately.

These sanity saving suggestions are based on how much time and energy you have, while preparing for the holidays.  Let the kids help decorate the house for either Passover or Easter.  Construction paper and their imaginations can make for a festive atmosphere.  Talk about their favorite holiday foods and let them help prepare them.  Cooking teaches children many things, reading a recipe, hand-eye coordination, math skills and then they can eat the tasty rewards. Use the time to discuss the religious significance of the upcoming holidays.

Have a pajama party, great way to stay home and be comfortable. Create your own singing competition show in the family room.  You might discover that the next American Idol is living in your house.  They can then perform their song for the entire family.

Hopefully Mother Nature will be cooperative this week.  It will be nice to get some fresh air and be outside!

Here is our list of kid-tested and mother approved places to keep the kids busy during Spring Break:
