Grand Opening Celebration - Babylon Village Deli

Written by Theprfreelancer, Inc.  |  19. March 2011

On Saturday, April 2, 2011, from 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM, Gregg and Ellen Winter invite the community to come celebrate the grand opening of the new Babylon Village Deli, 35 John Street, Babylon, with free coffee as well as muffin and Danish samples for the adults, and balloons and Hershey chocolate kisses for the kids. Gregg Winter comes from a family that prides itself on running the quintessential family-run delicatessen. His parents, Vivian and the late Fred Winter owned a deli in South Farmingdale for years, and then later the Quogue Market. Gregg, who lives locally in Islip, has owned and operated the Quogue Market, the West Hempstead Delicatessen, and the Sayville Delicatessen, and now calls Babylon Village the new home for his family-style and family-run deli, which features Boar's Head and Karl Ehmer products As his father said years before, Gregg emphasizes, "Treat customers right and fairly . . .smile at them and they will always come back. We enjoy our work and the people who come to our store." He adds, "We're thrilled to be part of the thriving Village of Babylon. We look forward to servicing the community and being a vital part of the local economy." Offering Boar's Head specials, commuter specials, and occasional fishermen specials, the Babylon Village Deli is open 7 days a week and features homemade salads, daily hot food specials, specialty sandwiches, fresh homemade desserts, and assorted flavored coffees. The Deli also has a full catering menu of heroes, cocktail sandwiches, and hot or cold buffet foods. Come celebrate with the Winter family on Saturday, April 2, 2011, and welcome them to the community.
