Saint Patrick is the patron Saint of Ireland. He’s credited with bring Christianity to the emerald isle and legend has it that he chased the snakes out of Ireland. Saint Patrick's Day has come to be associated with all things Irish: anything green and gold, leprechauns and luck, beef and beer and parades.
