SUNY College at Old Westbury, along with Farmingdale State College Small Business Development Center, will be hosting a regional conference women- and minority-owned businesses. Scheduled for Wednesday, March 23, 2011 from 8:30 a.m.-3:00 p.m. at the Old Westbury campus, the conference will provide a venue for SUNY procurement and Nassau County based agency staff to network with M/WBE firms, enhance M/WBE vendors' awareness of procurement opportunities at the regional SUNY and other public agencies, provide education regarding the New York State M/WBE certification process, and introduce area procurement officers to a network of M/WBE firms in the region.
