Enjoy a week packed with family-friendly entertainment on Long Island! This week features entertainment such as the greatest show on Earth from Ringling Bros. Barnum & Bailey Circus, Clifford The Big Red Dog – the musical, Fiddler on the Roof at Sayville High School and The Drowsy Chaperone at Deer Park High School. Other activities going on this week include an Irish music program at Seaford Public Library, square dancing at Rockville Centre Recreation Center, Jessica Alba appearing at Book Revue for a book signing event and Country Night at the Suffolk Theater. MONDAY – MARCH 11, 2013

Who: Irish Music Program At Seaford Public Library
Info: John Corr will lead the program performing live traditional Irish ballads and tunes to celebrate the coming of St. Patrick’s Day. He’ll have with him his banjo, guitar, tin whistles and bodhran. Stories will also be thrown in along the way. Advance registration is requested.

Who: Learn To Square Dance At Rockville Centre Recreation Center
Info: No experience or partner is necessary to learn to square dance. The first class you attend is complimentary.

Who: Jessica Alba At Book Revue For Book Signing
Info: The beautiful Jessica Alba has come out with a new book, The Honest Life: Living Naturally and True to You. She’ll appear at Book Revue to speak about her book and offer signings.

Who: Clifford The Big Red Dog Live! At The Paramount
Info: Enjoy the new family musical adventure of Clifford and Emily Elizabeth. They journey to Birdwell Island and along the way there’s laughter, songs and dancing.

WEDNESDAY – MARCH 13, 2013

Who: Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus At Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum
Info: It’s the 143rd edition of the Greatest Show on Earth, complete with elephants, tigers, acrobats, aerialist and more to entertain the entire family. The show continues at Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum through March 17.

Who: Fiddler On The Roof At Sayville High School
Info: For its spring musical, it’s playing Fiddler on the Roof. The musical drama is presented by the Sayville High School drama and music departments. It continues to play through March 16.

THURSDAY – MARCH 14, 2013

Who: The Drowsy Chaperone At Deer Park High School
Info: Enjoy a musical. It is a parody of American musical comedy of the 1920s. It tells the story of a middle-aged, asocial musical theatre fan.

Who: Country Night At The Suffolk Theater
Info: Enjoy live local country acts and entertainment including dance, DJ Deuce missing the hottest country tunes, line dancing instruction and a live performance featuring Southbound.
