Shelter Pet of the Week: Meet Becky

Written by Lyndsay McCabe  |  06. March 2014

Does your lifestyle only permit for a small dog? This week we are featuring a small beagle mix named Becky who comes from Last Chance Animal Rescue (LCAR), and is looking for her forever home.

Becky is about four years old, and has a sweet and laid-back personality.  She weighs just 22 pounds and has beautiful short white and reddish-brown fur.  The rescue staff describes her as very friendly with both people and animals, but not overly demanding of attention.

Becky enjoys the company of both other dogs and cats, and she is patient with children, so she is likely to fit well in many different kinds of households. With such an easy-going and easy to care for dog, what is not to love?

Becky is spayed, housetrained, and up-to-date with all of her routine vaccinations.

Last Chance Animal Rescue is a volunteer-based not-for-profit organization located out of Southampton which rescues animals from “kill” facilities – many of which are rural shelters in southern states – and underwrites the costs of relocating them to “no-kill” facilities and foster homes with the goal of adopting them into a forever family.
