Police Seeking Porch Pirate for Stealing Multiple Packages in Cedarhurst, Woodmere

Nassau County, NY - February 18, 2019 - Fourth Squad detectives are investigating multiple larcenies of packages that occurred in the confines of the Fourth Precinct on Saturday, February 16, 2019 around 3:30 pm.
 
According to detectives, video obtained from a homeowner at a Lincoln Street, Cedarhurst residence shows a male black subject, 20-25 years of age, pulling up in a red Volkswagen Golf vehicle, exiting his car, walking up and onto the stoop of the home and removing packages that were delivered and left at an earlier time that day.
 
A subsequent investigation revealed that similar instances of package theft were committed on the same date by the same subject at two other Park Lane homes in Woodmere.
 
Detectives request anyone who may know the identity of the subject, or information regarding these incidents, to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS. All callers will remain anonymous.
