Mr. Weinbaum is a member of United Capital Corp's Board of Directors and oversees the daily operations of the company's real estate investments and manufacturing subsidiaries with operations in New Jersey, Mexico and France. He is a graduate of Franklin Pierce University and has over 20 years experience in negotiating and financing the purchase, sale and leasing of real estate. A Great Neck resident, Weinbaum is active in his community and serves on numerous boards, including the Board of Directors of Patriot National Bank, the bank's Loan, Asset and Liability (ALCO) and Audit Committees. He is a trustee of a charitable foundation and is actively involved with the National Psoriasis Foundation. Weinbaum's interest in St. Mary's was piqued when learning of the heartfelt journey his friends, Robin and Kevin Portnoy and their family, experienced while their young son, Zachy, was cared for at St. Mary's Hospital for Children, one of the region's leading providers of post-acute care for children with special needs and families.
