MARY'S HEALTHCARE SYSTEM FOR CHILDREN AT THEIR SILVER ANNIVERSARY GOLF & TENNIS OUTING Michael Weinbaum Inspired to Help New York's Children with Special Needs St. Mary's Healthcare System for Children is pleased to announce that Michael Weinbaum, Vice President of Real Estate Operations for United Capital Corp. in Great Neck, Long Island, a diversified and publicly traded company, will be honored at St. Mary's Silver Anniversary Golf & Tennis Outing on Monday, July 25th, at Fresh Meadow Country Club. Mr. Weinbaum is a member of United Capital Corp's Board of Directors and oversees the daily operations of the company's real estate investments and manufacturing subsidiaries with operations in New Jersey, Mexico and France. He is a graduate of Franklin Pierce University and has over 20 years experience in negotiating and financing the purchase, sale and leasing of real estate. A Great Neck resident, Weinbaum is active in his community and serves on numerous boards, including the Board of Directors of Patriot National Bank, the bank's Loan, Asset and Liability (ALCO) and Audit Committees. He is a trustee of a charitable foundation and is actively involved with the National Psoriasis Foundation. Weinbaum's interest in St. Mary's was piqued when learning of the heartfelt journey his friends, Robin and Kevin Portnoy and their family, experienced while their young son, Zachy, was cared for at St. Mary's Hospital for Children, one of the region's leading providers of post-acute care for children with special needs and families. Inspired by their story, Weinbaum and his wife, Melissa, were eager to help St. Mary's in its mission to improve the health and quality of life for children and families with special needs.
