Written by Hank Russell  |  13. February 2012

Ben's Delicatessen Restaurant & Caterers announces it is hosting Ben's 40th Anniversary Twitter Tuesday Trivia Contest. In celebration of its 40th anniversary, Ben's will test the knowledge of its Twitter followers about events that happened in 1972. Three winners will be chosen at random from among those with the correct answer to receive a Ben's comp card valued at $19.72. Those who wish to enter the contest can log onto http://twitter.com/benskosherdeli or follow Ben's Deli on Twitter at @BensKosherDeli. Winners will be announced on Ben's Facebook and Twitter pages every Wednesday. On February 8, Frank B., Jane G. and Tom H. each won a comp card for correctly answering Louis Armstrong as the musical legend who was honored at the halftime show during Super Bowl VI in 1972. Ben's was founded by Ronnie Dragoon. After graduating from Brooklyn College with a degree in Political Science and completing his tour as a Vista Volunteer in Indiana, Mr. Dragoon moved back to New York in 1972 and opened Ben's Kosher Delicatessen Restaurant, which he named after his father. His humble upbringing instilled in him a desire to please others and, since then, he has incorporated that trait into his business philosophy. For more information, visit www.bensdeli.net.
