Freeport Massage Parlor Busted: Prostitution Charges Filed as ICE Takes One Woman Into Custody in Sunrise Highway Raid

Three women were arrested after a Freeport vice investigation found illegal massages and prostitution at a Sunrise Highway location, with one taken into custody by ICE.

The Narcotics Vice Squad reports the arrest of three women for an incident that occurred on Wednesday, February 11, 2026 at 2:40 PM in Freeport.
 
According to detectives, an investigation was conducted on the second floor of 117 West Sunrise Highway. The investigation determined that illegal massages and prostitution were taking place at this location.
 
Defendants Qingling Chai, 47, of Fresh Meadows, Sugar Qiukuok, 37, of Flushing and Juana Mahecha-Patino, 24, of Linden New Jersey were arrested without incident.
 
Defendant Qingling Chai is charged with Promoting Prostitution 3rd Degree and Unauthorized Practice of a Profession. She will be arraigned on Thursday, February 12, 2026 at First District Court, Hempstead.
 
Defendant Sugar Qiukuok is charged with Prostitution. She was released on an appearance ticket returnable to First District Court, Hempstead.
 
Defendant Juana Mahecha-Patino is charged with Prositution and Unauthorized Practice of a Profession. She was released on an appearance ticket and taken into custody by US Immigration Customs Enforcement (ICE) Agents.
