Suffolk County Police today arrested a woman for performing unlicensed massages and prostitution during a raid in Smithtown yesterday.
 
Suffolk County Fourth Precinct Crime Section officers, Fourth Squad detectives, Property Section officers, and the Smithtown Fire Marshal conducted an investigation at Vanilla 139 Spa, located at 139 East Main Street, at 2:30 p.m.
 
The Smithtown Fire Marshal and Building Department issued 13 violations for fire code and building offenses and deemed the establishment unsafe for human occupancy.
 
Hui Lin, of Flushing, 59, was charged with Unauthorized Practice of a Profession and Prostitution.
 
Lin was given a Desk Appearance Ticket and will be arraigned at First District Court in Central Islip on a later date.
 
A criminal charge is an accusation. A defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
