Written by Debbi Spiegel  |  06. February 2013

Valentine's Day is just around the corner!  The time to make your reservations is now.  Treat your sweetie to a romantic dinner and decadent desserts. Surprise your loved one and make it even more special by ordering a bottle champagne to accompany you candlelit dinner. A romantic atmosphere and delicious food will make for a Valentine's Day to remember.  Nothing says I love you more than a romantic dinner for two.

From the time of ancient Greece, certain foods have been associated with Aphrodite, the goddess of love. These foods are said to inspire ardor, passion, and romantic feelings. Chocolate has long been considered an aphrodisiac. This could be because it tastes so good or it could be because chocolate helps increase the serotonin level in your brain, which makes you feel good.  Other ingredients are almonds, figs, vanilla, oysters and champagne.  Casanova was said to have given champagne to each woman he was out to seduce-- and she would fall immediately under his spell. The truth is...there is something special and romantic about a bubbling glass of champagne. You can't plan a romantic dinner without it.

Sweethearts looking to treat their significant other on Valentine’s Day will fall in love at these fantastic restaurants.
