Brazen Burglars Swipe Eight Cars in Daring Heist at Inwood's Affordable Automotive – Detectives Urgently Seek Public's Help
The Fourth Squad reports the details of a Burglary that occurred on Friday, February 2, 2024 at 6:30 pm in Inwood.
According to Detectives, Fourth Precinct officers responded to Affordable Automotive, located at 541 Burnside Avenue for a Commercial Burglary. Upon police arrival it was determined that unknown subjects had cut the front gate lock and removed eight vehicles from the parking lot. Further investigation revealed that the front door of the business had been pried open and the office had been ransacked but it was unknown if any proceeds were taken. There is no description of the subjects. The investigation is ongoing.
