Long Island pizza fans are about to get another new option in the Oyster Bay village. Dough & Co. Pizza revealed on social media that it plans to open its second location in Oyster Bay, taking over a high-visibility spot on Main Street: 25 E. Main St., the former home of Umberto's of Oyster Bay.
The address is well-known.
Umberto's of Oyster Bay operated at 25 East Main Street and recently announced it had closed as of February 1, 2026, according to a post shared on Instagram.
A fast-growing pizzeria brand on Long Island
If you’ve spent time in the Huntington village dining scene over the past few years, there’s a good chance you’ve already heard locals rave about Dough & Co. Pizza.
The shop’s story starts with two longtime friends and young entrepreneurs — Danny Rocca and Teddy Fortunato — who opened their first pizzeria at 318 Main St. in Huntington in 2022.
Rocca told Greater Long Island the concept centered on dough that’s light, airy, crispy, and thin, designed to “sit well in the stomach,” while still delivering bold, classic pizzeria flavor.
Now, the brand is setting its sights on Oyster Bay — and on a Main Street storefront that has long been tied to pizza on Long Island.

Why this location matters for Oyster Bay
Main Street in Oyster Bay has become a destination corridor for grabbing food, meeting friends, and walking the village — especially in warmer months when the area is buzzing with outdoor dining and waterfront traffic.
The former Umberto's of Oyster Bay space at 25 E. Main St. is a prime landing spot for a slice-focused pizzeria: central, walkable, and familiar to generations of locals who’ve ordered pizza in that neighborhood.
And while the new Dough & Co. Pizza location hasn’t shared an opening date yet, the move signals something Oyster Bay diners always pay attention to: a new pizza contender entering a town with strong opinions about where the best slices live.
What to expect from Dough & Co. Pizza
While details for the Oyster Bay shop’s final menu and format haven’t been announced, Dough & Co.’s Huntington flagship built its reputation on a mix of classic slices and creative, modern toppings, plus “Metro”-style pies inspired by Rocca’s family roots and his approach to dough.
In the Huntington shop, Greater Long Island reported the slice lineup included favorites like vodka, buffalo chicken, BBQ chicken, and other rotating options alongside signature “Metro” builds.
If the Oyster Bay location mirrors what made the first two shops popular, locals can likely expect:
-
A crispy-thin, high-hydration style that leans “light” rather than heavy
-
A strong slice counter presence (grab-and-go friendly for Main Street foot traffic)
-
Signature specialty pies alongside traditional cheese and pepperoni
What’s next
For now, the biggest questions Oyster Bay residents will be watching:
-
When will it open?
-
Will it be slice-forward, sit-down, or both?
-
Will the Oyster Bay menu match Huntington/Northport — or add new exclusives for the village?
As Dough & Co. shares more information (including timing, hiring, and any soft-opening details), we’ll update this story.
