In February, everyone will also be able to "make friends" with animals available for adoption from the Bideawee facility at the TFCU Riverhead branch on February 5thor at the TFCU Shirley branch on February 19th, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Animals lovers may also "make friends" with animals available for adoption from the Little Shelter at the TFCU Huntington branch on February 19thor at TFCU East Northport branch on February 25th, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

"The Team TFCU pet supply drive is an annual February event that our members look forward to supporting. In the past they have generously contributed toys, food and other supplies. This February people will be able to get acquainted with some of the animals available for adoption at four of our branches. Team TFCU employees have set up collection bins at all of our branches in support of the shelters where animals are housed, fed and protected," said Robert G. Allen, President/CEO of TFCU.

Team TFCU would appreciate donations of unopened cat and dog food, unopened cat and dog toys, new cat and dog beds, creamy peanut butter, cleaning supplies, paper towels, collars and leashes.

Teachers Federal Credit Union provides services for members in Nassau and Suffolk counties and has supported Team TFCU collections of school supplies for needy children and coats for needy adults and children, fund-raisers to support Habitat for Humanity of Suffolk County and the Make-A-Wish Foundation, and many other projects that have made a significant contribution to the Long Island community.
