Suffolk County Police today arrested a woman for prostitution during a massage parlor raid in Selden tonight.
In response to numerous community complaints, Sixth Precinct Investigative Unit officers conducted an investigation into Foot Spa, located at 280 Middle Country Road, and arrested Lien-Hua Yu.
The Town of Brookhaven issued violations to the business and the building owner and shut the business down.
Yu, 37, of Flushing, was charged with Unauthorized Practice of a Profession, a felony, and Prostitution, a misdemeanor. She was issued a Desk Appearance Ticket and is scheduled to appear at First District Court in Central Islip on a later date.
